Lifestyle scenario 1 (Billboards & Radio)
On his commute to work, Joe Consumer passes a billboard for your business and thinks, “I have to remember to call them when I get to the office. “ He then hears another ad on the radio and is interested as well. Next, he arrives at work and goes straight into a meeting he is late for. His day is underway, and he has forgotten about calling the merchant on the billboard and learning more about the product he heard about on the radio.
Lifestyle scenario 2 (Television)
Mary Consumer is watching the TV and sees a commercial that interests her. Simultaneously, one of the children is calling for help with homework and the phone rings. Mary’s life has purged the thought of acting on her interest in the product or service she just saw on television until the image is presented again.
These familiar scenarios in our busy lives are what make reaching the average consumer with advertising so difficult. The Echotouch experience allows consumers to touch the merchant at the same time the merchant touches the consumer.
Lifestyle scenario 3 (Echotouch)
After work, you are out with your family and something catches your eye – dual LCD 42 inch screens with a full-color, fully digital animated images of a product or service. The backlit static display instantly communicates to you that you can interact right here and now with the merchant and receive immediate value. You look down and see a touch-screen inviting you to “touch” the merchant right now. You make a few simple selections on the screen, get a question answered by visiting a web site, print a coupon and maybe even call to schedule an appointment. Life did not get in the way of you acting on the advertisement!
Now, which experience are you more likely to enjoy, remember, and tell your friends about?
